The grant will fund the installation of a new awning outside the school’s RISE program, which serves students with diverse learning and support needs. This addition will provide covered access to the building, ensuring students can enter and exit safely and comfortably regardless of weather conditions. The project is especially meaningful for students who use mobility supports, including wheelchairs, as it will create a more accessible and protected pathway during inclement weather.

Marshall County High School is grateful to receive this Cash for Classrooms grant from Casey’s. This project will make a meaningful difference in the daily experience of RISE students by improving accessibility, comfort, and safety. Casey’s continued investment in Marshall County Schools is greatly appreciated.
