Mental Health Awareness
MCHS has one licensed mental health professional on staff in addition to 2 mental health providers from Four Rivers Behavioral Health and 2 mental health providers from Mountain Comprehensive Care to provide services to our students during the school day. Services provided include crisis intervention, risk assessment, individual counseling, group counseling and family counseling. If you are a parent who has concerns about your child's mental health or would like to set up counseling services, please contact one of our mental health counselors for assistance. Students may also reach out to a counselor directly. Our mental health counselors and their contact information are listed below:

Job Corps
Job Corps is a free education and training program that helps young people learn a career, earn a high school diploma or GED, and find an dkeep a good job. For eligible young people at least 16 years of age that qualify as low income, Job Corps provides the all-around skills needed to succeed in a career and in life. If you or someone you know is interested in joining Job Corps, call 1-800-733-5627 where an operator will provide you with general information about Job corps, refer you to the admissions counselor closest to where you live, and mail you an information packet.
